Marge Holland, R.N., B.S.N., M.P.A., Ph.D.
President, Nurse Consultant, Trainer





     Marge is a health consultant to child care providers in northern Illinois providing quality assurance visits to licensed centers and family/home settings. In a cooperative partnership with child care providers, Marge offers in-services to reinforce compliance with licensing and public health standards to ensure the health and safety of all children enrolled in the early childhood setting. She is a licensed registered nurse in Wisconsin, Missouri, Virginia and Illinois, and Nursing Home Administrator in Illinois and Missouri. Dr. Holland regularly presents at local, state and national level workshops/conferences.


Dr. Holland has over 30 years experience as an educational instructor in the health care field, and early care & education environments. She currently serves on:

  • Professional Development Advisory Board at Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies

  • PDAC subcommittee: Information and Trends

  • Early Learning Council Workplace Benefits/Environments committee

  • Children’s Home and Aid Society Cook County Advisory Council

  • HSES Assessment and Curriculum Development Committee
She holds credentials as a Master Trainer Level 15 for Wisconsin.


Marge received her Bachelor Degree of Science in Nursing, her Master’s Degree of Public Administration in Health Care Education Administration and her doctorate degree in public health and health care administration.

     Jen is responsible for monitoring the organization and delivery of curricular and instructional programs offered to participants in the early care and education setting, health care environment, and academic locations. She oversees services to ensure they are based on best practices and aligned with state standards and assessments for quality professional development accountability. Dr. Holland also works with the Missouri charter school system, coordinating professional development and instructional programs. She continues to work as a data teams leader, curriculum developer, instructional coach, and professional development consultant.


Dr. Holland has over 10 years experience teaching in early childhood environments, secondary education settings, and post secondary institutions. She currently serves on:

  • ASCD Emerging Leader (2015-2017)

  • HSES Assessment and Curriculum Development Committee

  • Regional Professional Development Advisory Committee (MO)

  • Regional Administrator's Network (MO)


Her IL Gateways to Opportunities credentials include:

Jen's education includes a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership: Curriculum Development and Instruction, Masters of Public Administration in Health and Human Services, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Exercise Science/Secondary Education.

     Sarah is responsible for enhancing the process of behavioral health care for children, parents, educators, and community members.  She provides professional development, referrals, and resources for challenging behaviors in young children, including bullying, autism spectrum disorders, social emotional development, family communication, and coping with trauma. She also provides individual and group sessions to parents, early childhood educators, and community members on an ‘as needed’ basis. Sarah is an ambassador for Barefoot Books, which promote diversity and early literacy.

Sarah has over 8 years of experience teaching and counseling in early childhood and K-12 educational environments.


Her education includes a Masters of Science in Professional School Counseling K-12 with an Alternative Education endorsement, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with endorsements in all Social Sciences, Middle School Science and Social Studies(grades 5-9).
